In 1975, a
small group of school administrators met
to develop a professional organization
that would encompass and serve a broad
range of membership and interests. This
meeting resulted in the formation of the
Mississippi School Plant  Management
Association - the MSPMA - and it
includes members from pre-school,
elementary and secondary levels as well
as community and senior colleges and
universities. We are dedicated to
promoting and enhancing the educational
process, at all levels, through proper
management practices related to school
operations and maintenance. It is our
purpose to promote the professional
advancement of school plant management
personnel.
Governed by a
board of directors, MSPMA hosts an
annual convention each fall to
further educational enhancdment. The
convention is a professional
development opportunity for
participants.

superintendents, managers,
supervisors, and foremen from
school systems, vocational
centers, community/junior
colleges, private and public
colleges and universities.

Association are: Maintenance -
Custodial - Grounds -
Transportation.

unique educational experience
through an opportunity to enjoy
good entertainment and plenty
of "shop talk".
